So, I wanted to (re)introduce you to YAK Films. YAK films are made by some young guys from Oakland who have become famous because of the super cool Turf videos they do (turf is a form of street dancing, and like we just found out from Google, it also means a layer of grass)
Just so we’re all clear, we are talking about the dance form here. Turf appeared in Oakland, California in the 1960s, and YAK started in Oakland in the 2010s. Now YAK makes videos all over the world, and frankly, we think they are simple, but just great. You be the judge.
